HEAVEN 47GOOGLE
-How’d I do?
-What do you mean?
-Did I get it right?
Holding hands, watching the most beautiful sunrise that never ended, listening to an ethereal choir of cherubs singing a fantastical melody that no one could have previously ever imagined, Sebastian smirked and gave Avery a knowing glance.[47]
-Dude, you’ve told this story literally an infinite number of times and every single time you make me sound batshit crazy. What’s so wrong with loving trains? Also, kinda weird you mostly referred to yourself in the third person.
They both burst out laughing. The Professor wept with laughter too.
-Well, we’re one and the same after all, at least others finally know our story. Next life maybe we’ll make it. For now though at least we’re all here.
-We’re all here.
Everyone was home: Sebastian, Avery, the Professor, the rest of all of their family and friends, everyone they had ever known, even Bailey the Chow Chow that Sebastian and Avery had always talked about adopting, but kept putting off because their schedules were busy and they never quite felt like they were responsible enough.[48]
At last Sebastian could dance with Avery and make banana pancakes for him whenever he wanted.[49]
Finally he could get a proper night’s sleep. And there was everlasting peace.
Amen.
